Born and raised in Kuwait, I grew up in a small neighbourhood in the suburbs. After completing high school, I was sent on a scholarship to the UK to earn both my bachelor's and master's degrees (currently intending to pursue a PhD). My time abroad has given me the chance to develop and mature emotionally, intellectually, and socially. Apart from gaining an excellent education, it was the everyday life skills that greatly improved my experience, especially as I was living alone. Having amassed a rich sense of heritage and culture, I came back home with new perspectives, and am now working at a local scientific research institute.
Yes, I've been called a grammar Nazi since...well, as far back as I can remember. Truth be told, it's a type of OCD called by some GPS: grammatical pedantry syndrome. To put it short: I get tense when I see typological and grammatical errors and my brains start to itch! Not only that, but I get this feeling too when I hear incorrect grammar. Not to brag or anything, but it's just a plain nuisance to the eyes and ears.
Unfortunately, many people consider this obsession an illness. Personally, though, what's ill about trying to positively reconstruct someone's linguistic expression, be it written or spoken? Frankly, I can be quite annoying and picky when it comes to words (ask Mum, she'll testify), so I thought I'd turn this into a positive facet of my personality. I'm offering reasonably affordable editing services for your written work. Please understand that I'm NOT going to write your work for you from scratch. I am merely offering to take a look, evaluate, and then do my best in grammatical editing.
